Author Services Inc aka ASI have shamelessly extracted $$$$$$$ from public who came into Scientology for what they believed was *religious enlightenment*.
Even though Hubbard supposedly *donated* his life's work to the *CHURCH* (CST~~ all Sea org "volunteers* as announced in the funeral/death ceremony) Author Services savagely extort "Author's Royalties" from every book sold.
ASI extract these Author's Royalties from Bridge Publications with ferocity. ASI is staffed with *Sea Org Members* who signed *ecclesiastical* religious contracts but are temporarily Non-Sea Org and make a decent wage.
However, they can be summoned to SP Hole if David Miscavige pleases. Australian David Bloomberg served years at ASI and then....he was an SP Holer.
