LRH says. In HCO PL23 October 1969 PROGRAMMING : “MAXIM SEVEN: The best programme is the one that will reach the greatest number of dynamics and will do the greatest good on the greatest number of dynamics. And that, my people who want to become victims by going broke, includes dynamic one as well as dynamic four.” Ever heard this Maxim read at IAS or Ideal org fundraising events? As a maxim it should hold some degree of seniority shouldn’t it? Keep on truckin' thoughtful!!!!!

Thanks Haydn and Lucy for the usual and brilliant analysis. It helps show a fuller picture in the DM scheme of putting noise, distraction and destruction on all dynamics, to the apparent betterment of his first, 6th and 9th Dynamic(money). With the recent articles on infanticide, past on destruction of marriages, destruction of the Bridge, SO and Orgs; you think he would harm the plant and animal kingdom too?

Yes, I remember Jeff Pomerantz breaking down, and then the second time I saw him do that I thought "he is just faking!". I went into more debt than I could afford just to help the cause, but fortunately not since 2002. And I never agreed with public having to pay for new buildings in the face of the existing high prices that keep many from service. Great write-up Mr. Haydn! I know more and more people who are backing away from the "pretend Scientology" and your article will help open more eyes.

Well written! These guys are simply vultures preying on unsuspecting people whose sole intent was to help. This scenario has played out in many countries ... and yes, I have seen the Pomerantz tears ... and to think he walks away with a large fee. What happened for doing that little extra for the cause ? We all have extended ourselves beyond what was comfortable, some even putting themselves into dire financial straits. But, not Jeff. Unfortunately, I never did visit the Birmingham Org, although I did have the pleasure of going to St. Hill a number of times and do remember seeing you there a couple of times. I look at the front line staff at St. Hill - such a dedicated bunch - old-timers such as Roz, Isla, Linda, Chris ... the list goes on. These are truly dedicated people who exemplify what LRH envisioned. Little did they know that their public was being financially sucked dry. The IAS has systematically cut across Org lines all around the world leaving struggling/ruined orgs & public in its wake. A truly sad tale. Thanks again for you article ... you have my deepest gratitude.

Hayden Your account makes the level of corruption in dm's fundraising organization abundantly clear. The degree to which the IAS has preyed upon the public's desire to help and to take responsibility for righting the world's wrongs, is just appalling. The IAS and their cronies are the worst kind of con-men. What is needed to right this wrong is for the victims of this con to realize how badly they've been taken advantage of and to simply refuse to continue to reward such depravity. Simply disagree. Remember that?

Right on Haydn. Your story reminds of of a flock of crows. Crows move into neighborhoods, throw other birds out of their own nests and take over those nests and lay their eggs there, then raise their young there. IAS is the same in that they go into a area, have the orgs hold events at their cost, ravaging their already depleted bank accounts and then hatch their events there. Then they collect the cream of the money and move on, leaving behind a waste land. Kind of the same. I hate their act. ML Tom

Haydn, Great report. You are the first person who has made reference to "Maxim 7" other than myself that I know of- it was my "covert" weapon in helping others on the IAS and other heavy dono regging. As a note, the newest Scientology Handbook has the programming maxims in it, with this most important line removed. Guess dm saw the danger in that line. I have read many of your essays, and have great respect for you and your family. Thanks for all you did in and out of the C of S, and looking forward to making your acquaintance down the road.

Bragging about crimes

Thanks Haydn, good post. These lines really rang a bell, and I've posted an excerpt from the 12 characteristics below it. "In an attempt to impinge on Lucy further he swore her to secrecy (didn’t want any public in the UK to know) and while crowing about it he told her that on average the IAS made more money per IAS reg cycle in the UK than anywhere else in the world. The UK Scientologists were simply easier to extract money from. And for that reason, and that reason alone, they were going to keep targeting the UK and keep right on pounding. And they have." I think this says it all: 8. Many antisocial persons will freely confess to the most alarming crimes when forced to do so, but will have no faintest sense of responsibility for them. Their actions have little or nothing to do with their own volition. Things “just happened.” They have no sense of correct causation and particularly cannot feel any sense of remorse or shame therefore. 9. The antisocial personality supports only destructive groups and rages against and attacks any constructive or betterment group. 10. This type of personality approves only of destructive actions and fights against constructive or helpful actions or activities. The artist in particular is often found as a magnet for persons with antisocial personalities who see in his art something which must be destroyed and covertly, “as a friend,” proceed to try. 11. Helping others is an activity which drives the antisocial personality nearly berserk. Activities, however, which destroy in the name of help are closely supported. 12. The antisocial personality has a bad sense of property and conceives that the idea that anyone owns anything is a pretense, made up to fool people. Nothing is ever really owned.
