Excellently written. Not a word of hyperbole. To corroborate what THOUGHTFUL has said. I worked at upper middle management until 2006. The ONLY orders that made it through the "filters" and "AVC" were those based on David Miscavige's mandates, comments or "strategies". If you quoted or alluded to one of his orders, you had a better chance of seeing your orders go out than if you quoted a policy or eval or order by LRH. Want to know just HOW senior David Miscavige has become to L Ron Hubbard? In 1996,through to when I left a few years ago, when a David Miscavige issue was printed by Mimeo - teams and scores of people sat there for HOURS scanning EVERY single copy of his issues to make sure there wasn't a dot or a speck or a mar on a one of them BEFORE they were allowed to go out to the public or orgs. Meanwhile, LRH HCOBs and issues were printed and sent out without a glance. Go figure! Who's the new "L Ron. Hubbard" - self appointed mind you - of Scientology? Make no doubts about it - David Miscavige has not only taken over the entire show, he's placed himself senior to LRH - no matter what he says in the events to PR people otherwise.
Thoughtful, Thanks for the well written State of the Nation coverage, it's the grim facts and truth as I see it as well. It's really no surprise what with 2/3rds of the highest Qualified staff within the Sea Org, with genuine production records, gone from the place. Quite a long time ago, there was fun and production at the place, a fun Holiday season and parties - but not many now recall that time.
