(An Ode to the "corrupt inner circle" within the C of S)

I came to you with hope for bettering the world,
You taught me failure.

I came to you for truth,
You lied to me.

I gave you my heart and soul,
You tried to steal them from me.

I gave you love,
You hated me.

I broke down fences to help,
You erected more barriers to stop me.

I trusted my friends within,
You showed them “honor” in betrayal.

I fought for you,
You shot me in the back when I looked away.

I protected you when others doubted,
You rewarded me by destroying my name.

I obeyed your mandates,
You abused the trust.

I forsook the luxuries of life,
You insisted I should have nothing at all.

I put my shoulder to the wheel,
You punished me for even trying.

I came to you with a clean heart,
You convinced me I was bad.

Friends and family never abandoned me,
You said “they” were the enemy.

I believed in the books of Scientology,
You twisted them for your own perverse use.

I tried to put matters straight,
You condemned me for speaking out.

I insisted on my rights,
You destroyed the concept.

I wanted freedom,
You gave me chains.

I wanted justice,
You denied it.

I came to you, a rebel for the cause,
You cowed us into obsequious compliance.

I live with a clean heart - a true purpose,
You are consumed by your own hypocrisy, fearing your own shadows and terrified of exposure.

I do not hate you,
But you are contemptible.

I do not wish you ill will,
But you have sealed your own fate.

I can and will see the dreams of Scientology come true,
You cannot because of your betrayal to the people.
